Global Adaptation Database
TRAC3’s global database on adaptation is one of the largest datasets currently available on adaptation policies, programmes, and initiatives. Developed in partnership with the WORLD Policy Analysis Center, based at the University of California Los Angeles’ Fielding School of Public Health, the database contains information for 117 high, medium, and low-income countries from 2008 to 2012.
Data were collected from the national communications to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and coded at the initiative level. An accompanying codebook provides detailed information on the indicators used to organize information.
For further information on how to access the database see Request Data.
The following maps demonstrate how the data can be used to compare adaptation progress at the country level.
